What's involved?

Just start these 5 daily habits for 21 days in a row to inoculate yourself against stressors.  The 5 habits take no more than 30 minutes a day, so you can easily fit these habits around your normal routine.

The 5 daily habits are:

  1. 15 minutes of exercise that raises your heart rate
  2. Journal one positive event in the past 24 hours
  3. Write down 3 new things that you're grateful for
  4. Perform one act of kindness
  5. Meditate for 3-5 minutes

 

Why you need this programme?

In everyone there is a natural negative bias, which is designed to keep us safe.  In your brain, the Amygdala scans the environment for threats and, as soon as it senses one, it initates your 'fight or flight response' by releasing adrenaline and cortisol. If this happens too much, it negatively affects your body and brain and in time this can make you ill.  Our modern lifestyles feed this fire - e.g. juggling responsibilites, our 24:7 culture, negative news stories, social media comparisons and mobile technology.
